Tramping & Bush safety

If you are looking to stretch your legs, we can help you with information about local tramping & bushwalking tracks in the area. 

*Please be aware that whilst the tracks are on private property and clearly marked, this is still the NZ bush/waterways and any activities undertaken are at your own risk.*

Safety considerations and appropriate equipment must be considered; appropriate clothing, torches/headlamps etc and especially letting someone know where and when you have gone, and what time you are expected to return in the visitors book/blackboard. 

Please let us know your experience level, especially if this is your first time in the NZ bush. If in doubt your hosts will be able to assist with questions, tips, and directions. Additionally, limited camping equipment is hire-able should you require it.
